Teaching Highlights

• Taught HP Drawing Gallery (similar to Paint Shop) to HP employees.
• Designed and taught a math for electronics course for Hewlett-Packard employees.
• Taught math for electronics for three academic quarters at San Jose City College, earning a California Community College Lifetime Limited Service Credential (No. 252720 issued January 31, 1983).
• Taught and provided technical support for HP Tag (an SGML-based formatting program) as a Hewlett-Packard technical writer.
• Worked as a facilitator for students learning medical billing software (affiliated with the DeAnza College Allied Health Department).
• Wrote from scratch, computer system installation and service manuals for Hewlett Packard and Amdahl (think of these as learning products).
• Taught boating safety as a Santa Clara Power Squadron volunteer for more than ten years. Received an Excellence in Teaching award twice at the regional level.
• Taught a Red Cross earthquake preparedness module at the East Palo Alto Senior Center and Gardens Block Club.
